Cancellation and refund policy
This policy covers payments to Code9 Ventures Private Limited for FirmSaathi plans, add-ons and credit packs. Payments a CA firm collects from its own clients through payment links on its invoices are between the firm and its client; ask the firm about those.
1. Free trial
Every new firm gets a 30-day free trial with no card needed. Nothing is charged when the trial ends: the firm chooses a plan and pays, or the account becomes read-only.
2. How plans are billed
- Plans are paid yearly in advance, in Indian rupees, plus GST. We issue a GST invoice.
- Payments go through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking). We never see or store card details.
- Plans do not renew automatically. Before a paid year ends we remind the owner; if the renewal isn't paid, the firm keeps full access for 7 more days and then becomes read-only. Data is never deleted because a payment is late.
3. Cancelling
The owner can stop using FirmSaathi at any time by not renewing, or close the account from Settings. The firm keeps access until the end of the paid year. After an account is closed, the owner has 30 days to export the firm's data before we delete it.
4. Refunds
- First purchase: if FirmSaathi isn't right for the firm, write to us within 7 days of the first paid plan and we refund it in full.
- After that: we don't refund the unused part of a paid year, but access continues until it ends.
- Upgrades are charged only for the remaining days of the year. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at renewal, so nothing is refunded.
- Add-ons and credit packs (WhatsApp messages, GST checks) are refundable within 7 days if none of the credits were used.
- Double or failed payments: if you were charged twice, or charged for a payment that failed, we refund the extra amount in full.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay, usually within 5–7 working days of approval (your bank may take a little longer). We issue a GST credit note for any refunded invoice.
