Terms of service
These terms apply when a CA firm (“the firm”) and its staff use Code9 Ventures Private Limited. By creating a firm or accepting an invitation, you agree to them on the firm's behalf or as its user.
1. The service
Code9 Ventures Private Limited helps firms manage clients, compliance tasks, due dates, document requests and related work. Features may change over time, and we may add, rename or remove them with reasonable notice.
2. Professional responsibility stays with the firm
Due dates, extensions, late-fee estimates and other compliance information are provided to help you, not as professional or legal advice. Always check them against the official notification or portal before you rely on them. The firm remains responsible for its filings and its advice to clients.
3. Accounts and security
- Keep your password and two-factor device safe. Don't share accounts.
- Owners, admins and partners must turn on two-factor authentication. The firm owner controls who is invited and what each role can do.
- Tell us at once if you think an account has been misused.
4. The firm's data
The firm owns the data it puts into Code9 Ventures Private Limited. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy and our data processing agreement. The firm confirms that it may lawfully keep and process its clients' data, and that uploads don't contain malware or unlawful content. The owner can export all firm data at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Don't:
- try to access another firm's data or bypass permissions;
- probe, scan or overload the service without our written permission;
- use the service to send spam or unlawful messages to clients;
- resell or copy the service.
6. Fees
New firms get a 30-day free trial. After that, plans are billed per year in advance, plus GST, at the price shown before you pay; plans don't renew automatically. Cancellation and refunds, including a full refund of a first payment within 7 days, are covered by our cancellation and refund policy.
7. Availability and support
We aim for high availability, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Support is available at support@firmsaathi.com.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Code9 Ventures Private Limited is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, penalties or late fees. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the firm paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Ending the service
The firm can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. After an account is closed, the owner has 30 days to export data, and we then delete it as described in the privacy policy.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.
